1997: Michael Dell states that he would "shut [Apple] down and give the money back to the shareholders."

1998: Apple begins selling iMacs in five colors.

2006: Apple's market value passes that of Dell.

2007: Dell begins marketing a new line of laptop computers - primarily on the fact that it is available in eight colors.
